The final conference of the project, implemented in the past 18 months, "Creation of support/help desk for maintaining and improving the business of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in conditions caused by COVID 19 - HELP DESK" was held in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republika Srpska. The goal of the project was to improve the knowledge and capacities of SMEs in order to maintain business continuity in crisis business conditions, such as COVID-19.

The European Union and the Federal Government of Germany jointly supported this project within the wider Covid-19 Investment Response/EU4BusinessRecovery project, which provides support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in mitigating the economic consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the past period, the Chamber of Commerce has developed a new electronic platform and Viber community "InfoBiz PKRS" (https://infobiz.komorars.ba), with the aim of improving the awareness of the economy and the communication with the chamber system. By using this platform, entrepreneurs are able to get information and participate in the activities of the Chamber in a faster and simpler way. Platform users have an overview of the regulations in the adoption procedure and those that have entered into force and are significant for the economy all in one place, as well as an overview of public calls published for the co-financing of business activities, current educations, B2B meetings and other chamber activities. 

In addition to the main result of our project, namely the creation of the "InfoBiz PKRS" platform, which has so far had over 30,000 visits, seven free trainings were held within this project, attended by more than 400 participants from 215 companies. B2B meetings were also held in the metal and wood industry, and in the tourism sector. 

Furthermore, through this project, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republika Srpska launched a new channel of digital communication with entrepreneurs via a Viber community, so that all interested can keep up with the most important information in the domain of current legal regulations and access to financing. After the successfully implemented project and the achieved results, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republika Srpska will continue to provide support to businesses through the improvement and digitization of the Chamber's services.
