We are pleased to invite you to the first AgriTech Summit in Bosnia and Herzegovina, entitled “Digital Future of Agriculture”, which will take place on 07 July at the Cineplexx Cinema Sarajevo (Zmaja od Bosne 4, Sarajevo).

The AgriTech Summit will be an integrated one-day event, focusing on a digital presence and the virtual future of the agri-food sector and the key challenges facing the sector and the growing demand for technological advancement in agriculture.

The first AgriTech Summit will be held within the “EU4Business – for innovative and competitive domestic economy” project, funded by the European Union, and is organized by the United Nations Development Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP).

The Summit will bring together the numerous experts in this area, representatives of the academic community and practitioners who will show how technological solutions contribute to improving agricultural practices today. Drawing on examples of successful regional and global initiatives, the AgriTech Summit will provide a platform for engaging in discussion and networking which is not to be missed.

The first AgriTech Summit in Bosnia and Herzegovina is organized within the EU4Business project, funded by the European Union, that aims to strengthen BiH’s capacity for economic growth and employment by fostering competitiveness and innovation of the BiH companies in selected sectors. EU4Business is worth EUR 16.1 million, of which EUR 15 million is funded by the EU and EUR 11 million by the Federal Republic of Germany.  The project is jointly implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), UNDP in BiH and International Labour Organization (ILO).
